An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Rugby Manager: Secondary Schools and Social Rugby to join Harbour Rugby.
Harbour Rugby was formed in 1985 and encompasses a geographical area that takes includes 12 rugby clubs and 18 secondary schools within the North Harbour region.
Our Harbour Rugby QBE Mens and Womens teams play in their respective National Premier Competitions.
We have a talented team of performance and community staff who are passionate about what they do, work hard at getting better and buy into the "Harbour way".
The purpose of the role is to be:
Accountable for growing and maximising the engagement and participation of Secondary Schools Rugby in the region and the growth of Social Rugby
The role is very much involved in building and maintaining relationships with young people, the Secondary Schools and Clubs in the region. The role requires someone that is contemporary in experiences and understands what influences engagement in young people in a personal and sporting context.
The role is also looking to take the lead in developing and implementing rugby options that appeal to the "social" player, both on the and off the field.
The preferred specifications is someone has passion for sports and has worked in the secondary schools sports network. They will have a growth mindset mentality and be a "details" person with strong planning, organisational and administrative skills.
