A great opportunity has arisen for two Appointed Directors to lead North Harbour Rugby both on and off the field.

North Harbour Rugby was formed in 1985 and encompasses a geographical area that includes 12 rugby clubs and 18 secondary schools within the North Harbour region.

Harbour Rugby is proud of its Purpose, “Improving Lives, Through Rugby”.  The Union also aspires to achieve the following Vision- Growing People, Connected Community, Harbour Rugby:  A Community Driven Provincial Union.

The purpose of the North Harbour Board is to establish and monitor the strategic direction and performance of the Union on behalf of its stakeholders.


The Union need leaders who are passionate about Rugby and will drive the Harbour Way in our community. In addition to this, and due to the current composition of the Board, we would strongly encourage those who possess a high level of financial & accounting experience and/ or commercial strength & networks to apply for the two available Appointed Director roles (one being a 2 year term & the other a 3 year term).
