As North Harbour Rugby nears the conclusion of celebrating 40 Years as a Provincial Union, we're delighted to share that Helensville Rugby Club will host our annual Community Rugby Sevens competitions. The Sevens will be held on Saturday, November 1st, for an exciting continuation of our celebrations.

Our clubs will have the ability to enter six possible grades, including two brand new ones for 2025. The following grades will be played across the day:

• Senior Men's Sevens
• Senior Women's Sevens
• Under-85 Men's Sevens
• Under-21 Men's Sevens (returning)
• Club Under-18 Boys' Sevens (new)
• Club Under-18 Girls' Sevens (new)

Following our announcement of the Under-19 Men's grade for fifteen-a-side rugby in 2026, we're proud to introduce our Under-18 Sevens grades to this festival, as well as the return of our Under-21 Men's grade. This is a key step in the direction of retaining school leavers, providing them with a pathway into Senior Rugby. For both of the new Under-18 grades, school teams may be granted entry, should they demonstrate alignment with a club. 

The event will prove itself to be a proper excitement factor, with the top performers competing for spots in our North Harbour Representative Sevens sides as well. The current defending champions for each competition are:

• Mahurangi (Senior Men)
• Silverdale (Senior Women)
• Silverdale (Under-85 Men)

Team entries for our Community Rugby Sevens close on October 25th, 2025.
