
Lead and manage HarbOUR Rugby's community operations to ensure the effective administration and delivery of rugby across the region. Work closely with clubs, schools, councils, and community partners to maintain first-class facilities and create an environment where rugby thrives.
North Harbour Rugby was formed in 1985 and encompasses a geographical area that includes 12 rugby clubs and 18 secondary schools within the North Harbour region.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Planning
Develop and implement operational strategies to ensure clubs remain well-managed and have quality facilities. Ensuring club health within the community club stakeholders.
Oversee the Operations Division, providing guidance, support, and performance leadership for all competition and game day events run by North Harbour Rugby Union (NHRU).
Lead all Health & Safety compliance and initiatives for NHRU.
Lead Vehicle fleet and asset management for NHRU.
Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholder groups, including the Auckland Stadiums (TAU), Council of Clubs, Junior Rugby Committee, Secondary Schools Committee, and club leadership teams.
Facilitate regular forums and meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Manage and mediate matters or disputes in consultation with relevant committees.
Community Operations
Oversee representative (community) rugby operations within the region.
Manage club rugby and Secondary School administration, judicial, and disciplinary processes.
Deliver Union-led official events, including the NH Rugby Awards Evening and Annual General Meeting.
Lead Northern Regions competitions for NHRU.
Lead match day operations and activities.
Organisation & Administration
Prepare planning, reporting, and operational documentation as required.
Maintain excellent written and verbal communication standards.
Collect, analyse, and present data to management to support decision-making.
