It is with great sadness we have learnt today of the passing of one of our former players, Willie Los’e.Los’e, who was North Harbour Cap #116, played his first game for the Union in April of 1994, eventually earning 18 appearances across two seasons. Los’e also captained Tonga in the 1995 Rugby World Cup. He has continued to give back to rugby in his years post playing, most notably as a broadcaster and member of the Sky Sport and World Rugby Sevens commentary teams. Willie was also instrumental in keeping the squad of 94-95 connected, holding annual lunches to ensure the boys stayed in touch.

A good man who will be missed.
