An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Rugby Pathways Manager to join Harbour Rugby as part of the Performance Division.
Harbour Rugby was formed in 1985 and encompasses a geographical area that takes includes 12 rugby clubs and 18 secondary schools within the North Harbour region.
Our Harbour Rugby QBE Mens and Womens teams play in their respective National Premier Competitions.
We have a talented team of performance staff who are passionate about what they do, work hard at getting better and buy into the "Harbour way".
The purpose of the role is to:
Develop and manage Harbour Rugby Performance pathways to allow Harbour people to grow and succeed in rugby and life- players, coaches, referees and administrators.
This will involve working with different stakeholder groups, including the regions aspiring rugby players, to create a learning and development environment which is looking to design pathways based around developmental and performance needs.
The successful applicant will have the ability to educate and inspire, and have a growth mindset mentality to their work. We are looking for a strong relationship builder who has the ability to work on their own or part of an integrated performance focused team.
The preferred specifications is someone with a background in education and/or human development with industry experience in a sporting environment. It is important to be a "details" person with strong planning, organisational and administrative skills.
