QBE HARBOUR READY TO HOST CHAMPIONS TASMAN

QBE North Harbour are still searching for their first win of the 2020 Mitre 10 Cup and it doesn’t get any easier as they face the undefeated Tasman side in round four on Sunday at North Harbour Stadium.

The afternoon match still under Level 2 guidelines will be difficult for the home side, however their record against current champions, Tasman is solid. The unions have played on eleven previous occasions with wins at five apiece and one draw. The last contest was another close one as Tasman took victory 21-17 last year.

The Harbour team has stuck with the same experienced tight five and continued with Crusaders team member Ethan Roots once again leading the forwards from the side of the scrum. Dillion Hunt still sitting out with concussion symptoms.

In the backline Bryn Hall returns at halfback and brings with him experience and teamwork alongside first- five Bryn Gatland. There’s some movement in the midfield and outside backs as Tomas Aoake comes in on the win and Antonio Mikaele Tu’u claims the second-five spot.
