North Harbour Rugby Development Team Head Coach

A great opportunity has arisen at Harbour Rugby as the North Harbour Devlopement Coach.

North Harbour Rugby was formed in 1985 and encompasses a geographical area that includes 12 rugby clubs and 18 secondary schools within the North Harbour region.

The purpose of the role is:

To lead and coach the North Harbour Rugby Development Program

To be considered for this role the person must be a leader to drive the Harbour Way in our community.  This must be backed up by strong personal qualities and a management style that connects, grows & potentiates our people.  The ability to coach core rugby skills and manage a team that delivers;

  • Coaching of Set Piece and or Phase play Attack/Defence – Forward or Back Play
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Well organised with effective season and session planning experience
  • Demonstrate success in developing  players both in Skill Acquisition and Game awareness
  • Relevant coaching qualifications prefered – Developing Rugby Coaches Level 2 / Blues Advanced Coaches Level 3 accreditation
