2XV Coaches appointed to National Age Grade Selector/Spotter Roles

Congratulations to Harbour 2XV Coaches Alex O'Dowd and Bill Wigglesworth who have been appointed as National Age Grade Selectors/Spotters for 2011.

O'Dowd has been named as NZU20 selector/spotter and Wigglesworth in the same role at NZU17 level and their appointments to these national roles are recognition of the contribution and involvement they have both made at club and representative level in Harbour.

Alex and Bill are our longest serving representative coaches having been involved since 2006 at U20, U23 and 2XV level, and not only have they won titles with our 2XV in 2010 and our U23 side in 2006, they also have a keen eye for home grown talent with a number of the players they have selected advancing through the grades.

Alex has also been named as backs coach of the Blues U18 team that will compete in the National Secondary Schools tournament in Hamilton at the end of July.
