Rudi
Wulf is back from injury and set to go head to head against Blues and
North Harbour team mate George Pisi when Kumeu takes on Massey this
Saturday at Riverhead Domain 1 at 2.45pm.
Blues Head
Coach Pat Lam is eager for Rudi to have some game time before the Blues
face the Lions next week at Eden Park.
Rudi’s home team Marist has a bye this weekend and has given him
dispensation to play for Kumeu to speed up his return to Super 14
rugby.
North Harbour’s Air New Zealand Cup coaches Craig Dowd and Jeff Wilson
have been caretaker coaches for Kumeu since their premier coaches
resigned. Craig and Jeff’s guidance has given the team a much needed
boost and they are looking strong for the weekend.
“It is everyone’s desire to see a club like Kumeu as a competitive
force in the North Harbour Premier Competition. We at North Harbour are
very focused on making sure the north western club is in good shape, so
to have an All Black like Rudi Wulf put his hand up and say ‘I'd love
to assist’ is just the medicine needed for the hard working players at
Kumeu and their supporters” enthuses Dowd.
Kumeu supporters are urged to come along and support the quality
players their club has produced play along side an All Black.
