PINK® BATTS® Insulation joins North Harbour's Team

QBE Insurance North Harbour Rugby is proud to have joined forces with one of New Zealand’s most iconic brands PINK® BATTS®. The household name will feature prominently on the sleeve of North Harbour’s jersey to be worn in this year’s ITM Cup beginning in July.

PINK® BATTS® Insulation is the premium brand of Tasman Insulation NZ (a Fletcher Building company) and has been keeping New Zealand homes and families warm and comfortable since 1961. The company has signed on for two years and reinforces the PINK® BATTS® brand’s valuable association in the community by supporting provincial rugby.

Tony Te Au, General Manager Tasman Insulation, says he welcomes this opportunity to lend support to an important provincial rugby organisation that fosters the game among its local community.  

“Both organisations share a similar view on the importance of supporting local communities.  Most recently, Tasman hosted an interactive games show, the ‘Pink® Batts® Charity Challenge’, to raise $50,000 for six New Zealand charities. This was a good way of celebrating our 50th anniversary for the benefit of others,” says Tony.

North Harbour prides itself on its strong links with grassroots rugby and the foundations of the game. This new partnership with a brand everyone recognises and can relate to adds to those strong links, and North Harbour look forward to establishing a long term relationship with PINK® BATTS® Insulation.
