Independent Board Member

The North Harbour Rugby Union invites applications for the position of Independent Board Member.

Under the Board rotation policy one Independent Board Member vacancy arises this year. Applicants should be aware that the incumbent Board Member is eligible to reapply and has stated his intention to do so.

This role requires a corporate governance focus, with responsibility for monitoring the strategic direction and management policies of the organisation while taking into account the interests of relevant stakeholders.

You will have proven business experience and success at a senior management or board level.  You will possess a high level of commercial awareness coupled with excellent leadership capabilities to contribute to the Harbour Rugby success. A strong interest in rugby and an understanding of the importance of Provincial rugby in New Zealand is essential.
