How can I get involved?
Get along to pre-season training in early February at your selected club and team managers will provide you with a senior player registration form to complete.
Do I need a uniform?
Playing gear at clubs is provided for games. Some clubs sell shorts and socks to players. Take rugby training gear including boots and running shoes to pre-season training.
How much does it cost?
Senior subscriptions are generally $125 to $170 payable at the start of the season. Several clubs have reduced subscriptions for players who have just left school. Team managers will provide details on subscriptions.
When and where are trainings and games?
Most clubs get senior pre-season training started in early February, usually twice a week depending on the grade. Contact your selected club for details or checkout their website.
How long is the season?
The senior rugby competitions and draws start in early to mid-April and complete in early to mid- August depending on the grade. Premier grade rugby completes in late July. In late February and March, clubs will hold pre-season games in all grades as preparation for the coming season.
