2013 Coaching
Coaching is an extremely rewarding and enjoyable way to make a contribution to your rugby community. North Harbour Rugby’s coach education programme is designed to add value to coaches of all levels and assist in their ongoing development.
The courses are aligned with NZRU requirements whichare specifically designed to improve safety, coaching methods and processes. All courses are delivered by NHRU staff and recognized resource coaches.

Compulsory NZRU courses for all Junior Coaches covering topics that will give coaches the knowledge and skills to coach at J1 level and below. The courses consist of theory and practical workshops and are separated into three levels:

Tackle Box |
A Tackle clinic is for all coaches in the J6 Grade. The Clinic will run prior to a round of games and will focus on evaluating tackle techniques of their players and how to teach the Key Factors of the tackle |
